The Lincoln High School building is the oldest high school building in Seattle, and despite being renovated has lots of places inside that are still haunted to this day.

1. Basement Math Classrooms

Sorry math teachers, but you guys are definitely haunted. Where the basement is today used to be a small indoor gym before the renovations. It was left abandoned for 40 years after the school closed, not even being entered when schools like Cascadia used the building. Rumor has it someone did something there and now they're stuck and they haunt the math rooms.

2. Cold War Bunker

Near the height of the Cold War, Lincoln had its south extension built. Included in it was a fallout shelter. Today, it's just used for storage, but over the decades it must have picked up at least one ghost or spirit or something.

3. Mr. Nelson's Room

The 1990 science fiction thriller film Class of 1999 was filmed here at Lincoln. It's where the beautiful "Fortified Lincoln" photo comes from. Being a dystopian horror movie about gang wars, there were lots of people who died. One notable death occurred in a chemistry lab, most likely Mr. Nelson's room. In the film, a teacher named Ms. Connors uses her flamethrower arm to ignite a bunch of flammable gas in the lab, killing two kids. There's a rumor that Ms. Connors still hangs out in Mr. Nelson's room, trying (and failing) to set things on fire.

4. Dungeon Under The Gym

When the gym was first opened, it had fancy underground locker rooms. Today, they're all abandoned, but are being renovated for when the gym fully reopens next year. Before the construction workers got there, the locker rooms were dark and had lots of broken lights. Because it was a locker room, there's lots of exposed pipes and water. "It's scary, all of the rooms are connected like a labyrinth" said Ms. Ware. Legend says that in 1975, a student went missing when exploring the complex system of rooms. It's very scary.

5. The Lincoln Bust

The ghost 16th president of the United States, this school's namesake, hangs out here sometimes. Since this Lincoln High School is the best Lincoln High School, President Lincoln goes into the big Lincoln bust near the front door. The statue has been seen winking at passersby, and sometimes students report being able to hear him whispering.

6. Auditorium Ghost (confirmed!)

Lincoln's auditorium is notoriously a very haunted place. Ask any tech crew member and they can point out a number of unexplained occurrences that have happened while they were working. Documented supernatural occurrences include a ghost that opens and closes doors, lots of ghosts who hum and sing under the stage and in the catwalks, and a ghost that makes the radiator click when you tell it to. Hopefully, since it's a very nice ghost, it doesn't get scared away by the construction

To conclude, Lincoln is most definitely haunted.
