We asked students at Lincoln what advice they'd give to incoming freshmen. It's an annual tradition at this point, and people gave tips for lunch, social lives, grades, and more!
Here's what they said:
Do your work but don't forget to have fun too, make sure you balance
—Lila, 10th grade
Join clubs, do activities, TALK TO PEOPLE, connections are important
—Tyler, 11th grade
Get an everything book — a notebook where you put your random stuff like to-dos, frantic notes, doodles, etc
—Ash, 11th grade
Don't get lazy and fall behind on the easy classes
—Donovan, 11th grade
Sign up for a variety of classes. There were so many classes I wanted to take but I couldn't because I had taken classes that were more or less the same
—Tai, Class of 2023
Don't stand in the hallway
-Ayden, 10th grade
Make silly Lincoln accounts, they're so funny
-Olivia, 11th grade
Do at least some of your volunteer hours early on. Don't wait!!
-Emme, Class of 2023
Drink water
—Griffin, 11th grade
AP bio is significantly better and more enjoyable than SPS bio. Also, get a PE waver because you don’t want to take PE for multiple years
—Callum, 11th grade
And last but definitely not least:
Make sure to Naruto run to every class and make among us jokes during class
—Federico, 11th grade
